Your Unisur online learning program will be customized, designed exclusively for you by you and your advisor. This flexibility to meet your needs is rare in other distance learning programs.
Our program does not require all students to study the same subjects and use the same books and other learning materials as everyone else. On the contrary, our online degree programs are designed exclusively for you. They are individually tailored to meet your needs and help you achieve your professional and personal goals. If you want to achieve well above-average results for your efforts, Unisur’s degree programs are what you’re looking for. The degree program is offered in various disciplines and allows students to develop the areas needed to grow in their profession. Since each student’s field of work is unique depending on the company, position or industry in which they work, the course objectives taught also allow for modifications and individualization. Studies leading to a bachelor’s degree The bachelor’s degrees are designed to provide candidates with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of their professional field, as well as training in data interpretation and analytical skills. One of the key objectives of Unisur’s bachelor’s degree program is to equip students with the tools and confidence to pursue self-training; these skills are indispensable, as they allow students to adapt to their ever-changing environment or situation without relying on an institution of higher education.
The degree program aims to develop an understanding of its field beyond textbooks by integrating theories into practical, real-world applications. Applying theory to practice through real-life models and effectively communicating information through appropriate channels helps to avoid the sense of disorientation that graduates often experience when entering the professional world for the first time.
Additional information about your program
Course and curriculum development is a collaborative activity between the student and the academic advisor. Each student’s curriculum is unique and has been developed as a result of the joint efforts of the student, academic staff and academic advisor.
To meet the degree program requirements established by the Academic Committee, the student conducts research (using the Internet or other approved resources) to search for and select courses from at least two Unisur-approved colleges or universities that offer the same discipline at the undergraduate level as the student’s designated degree program.
Students will select courses based on their needs to acquire the knowledge and master the objectives defined in the course descriptions and objectives as detailed in the course catalogs of the approved institutions. Students will be the initial referees of the selected courses. The course selection process culminates in a class session with the academic advisor. During this class, the student’s courses and plans of study will be established and approved. Degree programs are available in many disciplines and demonstrate the student’s ability to perform work in the selected field of study. The cornerstone of the program is the undergraduate thesis, an original work that demonstrates the candidate’s mastery of the selected discipline.
Studies leading to the award of the bachelor’s degree are designed to provide candidates with a thorough and comprehensive knowledge of their professional field, as well as training in research methods. The criteria for the award of the degree will be the candidate’s understanding of the subject matter and demonstrated ability to conduct independent research. In addition, candidates must be able to express their ideas clearly, both orally and in writing.
